We are seeking a highly skilled MAC Associate to join our Major Agribusiness Clients (MAC) team, supporting some of the country’s largest and most innovative food & agribusiness businesses. This is your opportunity to play a key role in structuring sophisticated lending solutions, influencing major deals, and helping clients achieve their long-term ambitions. About the role | Mō te tū ranga As a MAC Associate, you’ll be an integral part of a high-performing deal team, partnering with MAC Managers and Analysts to deliver strategic credit insights and tailored financial solutions across a portfolio of complex, high-value clients. You’ll combine deep financial analysis with commercial thinking, working on everything from syndicated facilities and structured lending to relationship-driven client support. What You’ll Be Doing Credit & Deal Leadership Lead the analysis of complex financials and prepare high-quality credit submissions Structure and recommend innovative lending solutions for large agribusiness clients Assess financial, business, and group structure risks Play a hands-on role in complex bilateral and syndicated transactions Strategic Collaboration Partner closely with MAC Managers, Analysts, and internal specialists Engage with external stakeholders including banks, legal advisors, and agency teams Contribute to Deal Team Meetings and drive alignment across stakeholders Client & Portfolio Excellence Support client relationships and attend key client interactions Proactively identify emerging risks and opportunities Help deliver a premium service experience to high-value customers About you | Ō pūkenga You’re commercially astute, analytically sharp, and thrive in complex environments.
