Verition focuses on global investment strategies including Global Credit, Global Convertible, Volatility & Capital Structure Arbitrage, Event-Driven Investing, Equity Long/Short & Capital Markets Trading, and Global Quantitative Trading. Role Overview Verition is seeking a motivated Operations Associate to join its Cash & Position Reconciliation team. The Associate will be responsible for daily cash and position reconciliation across a high volume of transactions, multiple accounts, counterparties, and asset classes, leveraging a suite of internal and third-party systems. You will work closely with Trading, Technology, and other Operations teams to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of breaks. Responsibilities Perform daily cash and position reconciliations across internal systems, external platforms, and Prime Brokers. Investigate, analyze, and resolve high-volume reconciliation breaks across multiple platforms and systems. Escalate and drive timely resolution of outstanding breaks. Maintain accurate transaction records across internal and third-party systems. Identify process gaps and partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement solutions. Respond to queries and ad hoc requests from Trading, Technology, and other Operations teams in a timely manner. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. 3+ years of operations or financial services experience; exposure to Equities, Credit, Derivatives, and/or Rates a plus. Experience with DUCO or similar reconciliation tools preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High level of intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, and a keen attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and dynamic environment. Collaborative team player comfortable working across Trading, Technology, and Operations functions. Salary Range $100,000 — $125,000 USD
