When do UK investment banking applications open?

Most spring week and summer internship applications open between August and October for the following year. Many banks review on a rolling basis, so applying in the first few weeks gives you a real edge.

Where do these deadlines come from?

Each deadline is read straight from the firm's own applicant tracking system rather than typed up by hand, so the date you see is the date the firm is showing. Where a firm has not published a date, we mark it as not listed instead of guessing.

Do I need a finance degree to apply?

No. Banks recruit from any degree subject. What matters is a strong academic record, commercial awareness and evidence that you understand the role you are applying for.
