Working across Core Operations, the Investment Group, Global Investment Control, Trading, custodians, brokers, and other internal and external partners, this role coordinates onboarding and enablement activities, identifies and resolves operational challenges, and supports the delivery of scalable solutions that enable investment activity. As Account Enablement continues to evolve, the analyst will contribute across multiple enablement disciplines, including account onboarding, market opening, market and broker readiness, trading system setup, and derivatives onboarding. The role requires strong curiosity, analytical thinking, and a willingness to challenge existing processes while helping build scalable capabilities that support Capital Group's future operating model. The successful candidate combines operational excellence, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills to deliver efficient, controlled, and scalable solutions that support investment activity, client outcomes, and the continued growth and evolution of the Account Enablement function. What Success Looks Like Successful Account Enablement Analysts are naturally curious, take ownership of outcomes, build trusted relationships, and navigate ambiguity with confidence. They combine strong operational execution with sound judgment, helping deliver scalable solutions that support investment activity and positive client outcomes while continuously improving how work gets done. Key Responsibilities Account & Operational Enablement Support onboarding activities for new accounts, mandates, products, derivative products, and operational capabilities. Partner with stakeholders to understand operational requirements, dependencies, risks, and readiness considerations associated with onboarding activities. Coordinate readiness activities across multiple stakeholder groups to ensure successful implementation. Assist with account funding, operational setup, maintenance activities, and lifecycle events. Support operational setup, onboarding, and readiness activities associated with trading systems, derivative products, and collateral accounts. Coordinate testing and validation of system changes and onboarding requirements. Ensure relevant systems, controls, and documentation remain accurate and current. Market & Broker Readiness Support market opening and maintenance activities across global markets. Coordinate operational requirements with custodians, brokers, and internal teams. Maintain and monitor market documentation, settlement instructions, and supporting records. Assist with broker onboarding and readiness activities required to support investment activity. Partner with stakeholders to resolve market access and operational readiness issues. Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement Investigate operational issues and coordinate resolution activities across teams. Gather and analyse information to identify root causes and recommend practical solutions. Communicate risks, impacts, and proposed approaches clearly to stakeholders. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance scalability. Support automation, workflow simplification, and process improvement initiatives. Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of onboarding processes, controls, and scalable operating models across Account Enablement. Challenge existing processes and identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve operational activities while maintaining an appropriate control environment. Relationship Management & Collaboration Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Partner effectively across regions, functions, and diverse perspectives to deliver business and client-focused outcomes. Contribute positively to an inclusive, collaborative team culture that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous learning. Support cross-training efforts that enhance team resiliency and coverage, and team development. What You Will Bring Successful candidates will typically demonstrate a combination of the following: Experience within investment operations, financial services, account onboarding, trading support, custody, or related operational functions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity in a dynamic environment. Effective stakeholder management, collaboration, and communication skills. Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and sound judgment. Curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset.
